Bring your own AI key, on any plan.

The document scanner and the writing assistant can run on your own Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI key, including on the free plan. Your provider bills you directly, usually pennies, and the key is tested before it is saved. Breeder and Signature include an allowance, so most people never need one.

What happens if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Your records stay on your device, readable and exportable. The paid features switch off, and if you come back later they switch on again.

Is the free plan really free, or is it a trial?

It is free, with no time limit and no cap on animals or litters. It is meant for a household with a few animals or a first litter. The paid plans add cloud sync and backup, the document scanner with an included allowance, the buyer and money tools, and on Signature a change history and an API.

How do I cancel?

From Settings in the app (Manage Billing Portal), or by emailing support@kennelkeeper.app. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Can I get a refund?

If you are within 14 days of your first paid charge and unsatisfied, contact us for a full refund of that charge. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but reach out if something went wrong and we will work with you in good faith.

Can my co-breeder or my vet log in too?

Not yet. Shared team access is planned but not built, so it is not for sale. Today each plan is for one person, and Breeder and Signature let that person open their own records on any number of devices.
