Terms of Service

1. Agreement

KennelKeeper (the "Service") is made by Brian Brixon, Brixon Web Services, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for the activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Plans and billing

  • The Hobbyist tier is free, subject to its stated limits.
  • Paid plans (Breeder, Signature) are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
  • You can cancel from Settings in the app (Manage Billing Portal) or by emailing us. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Prices are shown in USD and may change with reasonable notice.
  • If you use your own AI provider key, that provider's terms and charges apply to what you send it, and it bills you directly.

4. Your data and content

You retain ownership of all records you create. KennelKeeper is local-first; your master data lives on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. You may export your data in open formats at any time, including after cancellation.

5. Public portal

Any listings or pedigrees you publish to the optional public portal are your responsibility. You represent that you have the right to publish them and that they are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Calculated values such as Coefficient of Inbreeding are provided for informational purposes and depend on the accuracy of the lineage data you enter. KennelKeeper is a record-keeping tool and is not a substitute for veterinary, legal, or professional breeding advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KennelKeeper is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss of data you did not back up.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
